Scenario
A Montana ranching family confronts others who are encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is an expert in the world of rodeo. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” his Montana accent and reverts to his usual Southern California voice. Featured on WatchMojo: The 10 Best Summer TV Shows Not on the Radar (2018). This is the kind of show where cowboy and western life meets big-city mob life. This show has a good cast, the first two episodes are well-written, and after each episode, you want more. Not to mention, the scenery in Montana and Utah is beautiful. The Duttons remind me of the Ewings from the 1970s drama Dallas. In short, Yellowstone is “Dallas” meets “The Sopranos.”
